Kroger will host a job fair at the Hilton Garden Inn, 1575 Fording Island Road, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday to fill positions at its store in Shelter Cove Towne Centre on Hilton Head Island.

The 86,000-square-foot store opened in Dec. 2013 as Kroger's first grocery store on the island. It has immediate full and part-time positions for deli and bakery employees along with baggers and cashiers.

Applicants should apply at jobs.kroger.com prior to the job fair.
