A new craft soda, candy and novelty store is expected to open this June in Shelter Cove Towne Centre on Hilton Head Island.

Rocket Fizz Soda Pop and Candy Shop will sell retro candies, including treats popular in the 1960s and 1980s, and hundreds of glass-bottle sodas in fun and eclectic flavors like key lime pie, buffalo wing, bacon and chocolate, mud pie and sweet corn.

The store will be located next to Poseidon Coastal Cuisine, behind Kroger, and is currently being built, said owner Mike Clancy, who also owns a Rocket Fizz in the Oglethorpe Mall in Savannah.

The company first opened in Camarillo, Calif., in 2009 and now has more than 100 locations nationwide.
