The American Heart Association’s Palmetto Heart Walk, held April 30, has raised a record-breaking amount of more than $90,000, officials say.

Held at Shelter Cove Community Park, the walk also had 750 people to participate, according to a news release.

Jeremy Clark, the walk’s chair and market chief executive officer for Hilton Head Hospital, led the campaign and will lead the 2017 walk as well.

Donations will continue to be accepted through June 1 and can be made at www.palmettoheartwalk.org.

Participants can also contribute by participating in Hilton Head Honda’s Charity Test Drive this month. On Saturdays in May, the company will donate $20 to the campaign for every test drive participants take.
