The Dove Street Festival of Lights this holiday season will include a local disaster-relief fund to benefit Hurricane Matthew survivors.

Festival proceeds will be shared with the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry’s Disaster Recovery and Rebuilding Fund, and the Island Recreation Association and Programs for Exceptional People, a release from the festival said.

About $120,000 was raised for nonprofits through the event since 1990.

The holiday attraction at Shelter Cove Towne Center will be held from Nov. 19 to Dec. 31.
