The Palmetto Plant Eaters club, a PlantPure Nation pod group that meets monthly in Bluffton, SC, is hosting a vegan festival (aka vegfest) in South Carolina on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 10am to 4pm at the Shelter Cove Community Park on Hilton Head Island, SC. We are expecting 300-500 people to attend from all around the Lowcountry including Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Beaufort, Charleston, Columbia, SC, and Savannah, GA. There will be ample vegan food from area restaurants, vegan beer and wine, food cooking demonstrations, speakers on vegan topics, vegan advocacy, and compassionate entertainment for the children. Public admittance into the Lowcountry VegFest is free and there will be opportunities to win and receive free vegan merchandise.
