It’s Easy to Register –
STEP 1: GO ONLINE TO REGISTER
Visit PalmettoHeartWalk.org and add it to your favorites section on your computer! Click the “Register Here” button and follow the instructions:
Team Captains: Select “Start a Team” and find your Company Name Walkers: Select “Join a Team” and find your team name. If you have participated in the past, go to the top of the registration page and select “Click Here” to auto fill the form.
STEP 2: PERSONALIZE YOUR PAGE. SHARE YOUR STORY
Why are you passionate about the American Heart Association? Why is heart health important to you and your family? Share your “why” with us! Donors are much more likely to respond to a personal story or message. Upload pictures of your team. Or those you are staying heart-healthy for. Or those you are honoring. Get creative! You can even upload a YouTube video.
STEP 3: ASK FOR SUPPORT. SEND E-MAILS
Send customized e-mails to your friends, family and co-workers—inviting them to join your team or make a donation toward your fundraising goal. Click on the E-mail tab. The e-mail center contains recruitment, solicitation, and thank-you templates. Use the Address Book feature to save time and reach more people. Add your personal story to tell friends, family and co-workers why you are participating and raising money for the American Heart Association.
